Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Zanussi Dryer.
Prevent Fluff Accumulation
Ensure that fluff does not accumulate around the dryer by cleaning the filter at the end of each program with a damp cloth. This will maintain proper functioning of the appliance.
Routine Safety Checks
Before each use, check that there are no obstructing items or materials near the air-intake louvres, such as paper or rags. This will help in maintaining efficient air circulation.
Proper Installation
Position the dryer on a firm, level surface to minimize vibration and noise. Use a spirit level to check if the dryer is level and adjust the front feet as necessary.
Avoid Overloading
Do not overfill the drum. Ensure that laundry is suitably spin-dried in your washing machine at a minimum of 500rpm before placing it in the dryer.
Ventilation
The dryer should have its own ventilation system vented to the open air, not connected to any other appliance's ventilation system. Ensure the vent hose is not squashed to maintain drying efficiency.
